We all could use a laugh these days.

Dumb warning labels:

On a baby stroller – “Remove child before folding.”
On a brass fishing lure with a three-pronged hook on the end – “Harmful if swallowed.”
On a cartridge for a laser printer – “Do not eat toner.”
.
And this last one beats them all:
On a carpenter’s electric drill – “This product is not intended for use as a dental drill.”

Love Is Not Just For Lovers

In a circle, in a silence in a world that’s not the norm
The darkness stands between us, what once was now has no form.

In the years, then in the decades memories crossing time and space
Creates a holographic image of you in another place.

And the feelings keep on coming, and the times we shared remain
Love is not just for lovers, was your upbeat refrain.

We traveled once together, then we parted, not to return
But our friendship was long lasting, our feelings deep did burn.

Even death could not unhinge us, keep us from the tie that bound
You were my prodigal, a soul lost than again quickly found.

In the slipstream of existence, within the measure of God’s time
You eventually would have to leave me, our souls no longer to rhyme.

The day that is for lovers always cuts me to the quick
